TULSA NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER | TULSA FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER

After graduating from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 2013 with a degree in Business Marketing, Janel wasn't planning to become a newborn and family photographer. After moving back to Tulsa, she took a position as the assistant director for an elderly community in Broken Arrow, Ok. Her first son was born in 2015. Unfortunately, having his newborn photos done by the cheapest photographer she found ended in terrible disappointment! She was devastated with the results which started her interest in newborn photography.

Wanting to prevent other mothers from making the same mistake she had already done, Janel set out to learn everything she could about photography. She never saw herself as an artist but passion and love for children pushed me into creativity. The love of seeing each parent’s face as she presents them with their gallery of portraits for the first time never gets old.

Her background in business and a compassionate nature has been a huge advantage with bonding with clients. Building their trust, while providing them with amazing experiences gives great satisfaction in her career choice.

While not spending time with clients, Janel enjoys all the little moments with her three boys, Corbin, Lincoln and Owen. Her incredible husband, Philip, continues to love her through all the craziness. The family also has two other businesses that they run together.
